US Will Continue Medical Marijuana Crackdown - October 30th 2009
Officials are looking to crack down on the medical marijuana industry aside from what Obama has commented as a new hands off policy regarding medical marijuana. Could this possibly be a ploy to provide disinformation to the public. Though Obama is stated as the commander in chief of the United States there is still crack downs on the medical marijuana industry. This further infuriates patients as well as advocates who have had a ballet passed that would allow the use of medical marijuana under certain guidelines. Los Angeles officials have had a tough time over the last 2 years trying to introduce what they believe are sensible guidelines to the medical marijuana industry as well as the medical marijuana dispensaries providing the marijuana.
In the United States there are 14 states who have laws that allow the use of medical marijuana, but no other state like California has been pushing this issue as well as Los Angeles who has more medical marijuana dispensaries than public schools.
Los Angeles is now in the crackdown mode. The council will be in debate whether to introduce in ordinances that will require strict new rules about them medical marijuana dispensaries. |
